Panoramic
OPG Full-Mouth X-Ray
A panoramic X-ray that shows the entire upper and lower jaw in a single image.
OPG (Orthopantomogram) is a wide rotating X-ray that captures the full upper and lower jaw — including all teeth, the temporomandibular joints, and surrounding bone — in one panoramic image. The whole scan takes under a minute and uses far less radiation than older film techniques.
What it's used for
- Planning dental implants
- Evaluating impacted wisdom teeth
- Detecting jaw cysts, infections or bone loss
- Orthodontic treatment planning
