Sterile
UV Sterilization Chamber
A storage cabinet that uses ultraviolet light to keep already-sterilised instruments sterile until use.
After instruments come out of the autoclave, they are stored in a UV-C sterilization chamber. The continuous ultraviolet-C light prevents any airborne contamination during storage, so every instrument that enters the patient's mouth has been kept in a sterile state right up to the moment of use.
What it's used for
- Storing all sterile dental instruments
- Preventing recontamination between cycles
- Maintaining hospital-grade sterility
- Keeping moisture-sensitive items dry and sterile
